L'mwcgechidna gigante di Hackett (mwcwmwdaMurrayglossus hacketti mwdqGlauert, 1914) è una specie estinta di mwdgechidna, unico rappresentante del genere mwdwmweaMurrayglossus. Era, fino al 2022, considerato parte del genere mweqmwegZaglossus.cite-ref-flannery-1-1[1]cite-ref-2[2]

Vissuto nel mwhaPleistocene superiore in mwhqAustralia orientale, se ne conosce l'esistenza grazie al ritrovamento di alcune ossa, dalle quali si può stimare che mwhgM. hacketti misurasse almeno 1 metro di lunghezza e pesasse circa 20-30 chilogrammi, il che ne farebbe il più grande mwhwmonotremo mai vissuto.cite-ref-3[3]cite-ref-4[4]
